Portland Packaging Co., Inc. was founded in 1952. Through the years, we’ve earned the trust of our broad customer base with secure shipment and timely completion. Our experience offers you the best shipping solutions, premium products, and quick turnaround that is second to none.

Our customer’s needs are our top priority. Our team adds “Value Through Service” to the products we supply to our customers. We strive daily to provide cost-effective, premium products and services that will meet any unique packaging and crating requirements. We have the expertise for the broadest range of design capabilities even in the most complex shapes.

As new shipping and packaging-related technologies have developed over time, we have maintained industry standards while staying within our customers’ time lines and budgets.

Today, Portland Packaging is owned and managed by partners John Blaisdell and Dan Hawthorne.

 

Portland Packaging Co., Inc and owner Dan Hawthorne proudly support an organization called Candlelighters- for children with cancer. Every year Dan participates in a fundraiser through Candlelighters called 'Ride for a Child' where he joins a group to ride his bicycle nearly 500 miles in just one week!

Funds from Ride for a Child have allowed for new and enhanced Candlelighters services and programs. Candlelighters offer a variety of programs that include cancer support groups, educational resources, and college scholarships for cancer survivors and networking tools. Emergency financial help for families in treatment, one of Candlelighters most vital programs, is also supported by this ride. With only one part-time administrator, volunteers accomplish nearly 100% of this work. Funded entirely by private donations, all monies are raised locally and spent locally.
